So guys I'm looking at the tiny sized 22LR for my kids, I was checking out the TC Hotshots and the Crickets. The Crickets are 1/2 the price of the Hotshots But the Hotshots have spacers for the recoil pad so it can grow with them. What do you think?

I have a cricket that i got for my 10 birthday. I love the little thing. I still break it out from time to time for memories sake.

Why not check out the Marlin 15YN. They are reasonably priced and great for young shooters. I bought one for my daughter 18 years ago and it's a great little gun. I've never liked the cricket and it's cocking system.

I think any of the three already listed would be fine. You should check them out and see for yourself which is best built and a god buy for the money. Kids grow fast and the spacers do seem like a good idea but you can make them yourself out of gallon milk jugs if you are handie with tools.
