I acquired some guns from my grandfather. One of the guns is a Remington 700 in 25.06 caliber. It has a beautiful replacement stock that I've been told by several reliable gun dealers was made by Reinhart Fajen. The stock is unbelievably beautiful. The gun is mounted with a Weaver KV 60 scope that is something like a varible scope as it allows you to set it for 3x or 5x, but that's all. It looks in mint condition, now wear marks or scratches. Does anyone have any information on the Fajen stock or the Weaver scope? Thanks!

The Weaver KV scopes were made in the 1950s Weaver's first attemps at variable power scopes. They are mostly a collectors item now days. The fog proofing by now is probably no longer effective.
