What would be a nice but cheap scope for a 30-06 savage edge? I looked at a couple Leupold rifleman scopes and like them quite a bit. So any opinions or suggestions would help out. Thanks!

i got a bushnell dawn and dusk scope for my savage edge and like it a lot but you may need higher scope mounts though

I like the Nikon ProStaff scopes. I have two and they are very good, well worth the money. I have them on a 30-06 and a .270.

Try to buy the best scope you can afford. I think the difference is in the clarity and in low light conditions. Plus the eye relief is more on better scopes. Check the Redfield line up, they are made in the same place as Leupold.
