I hear Academy Sports sometimes has good deals on guns. Keep checking around, the 10-22 is a popular gun and is put on special occasionally at different places.

Where I live Walmart has them. Also as pineywoods said Academy Sports would have it at a pretty good price.

The best rimfire rifle ever made is available almost everywhere. A local retailer is probably your best bet for cheap. I have recently purchased one from Bud's Gun Shop, on the internet, and I was pleased.

On Cabelas site(I think) it is $189. I have the ruger 10/22 and like it quite a bit. I got mine for 229 w/scope 2 or 3 years ago.
