Hi! i am looking at getting a new scope for long range shooting (600yds hopefully up to 1000yds)with my 243 and stumbled onto the swfa super sniper scopes so far all i have read is great reviews and am pretty much sold on them but i just can't decide which one to get the x10 or the x16??? any suggestions would be appreciated

I don't know that I could agree with shooting anything that breathes at a distance of more than 500 yards with a .243. Those bullets are awfully light to have much energy left when they get beyond 500 yards. There is some energy and in a perfect case, I suppose, that it could be a killer of coyotes.
Most of us, however, are subject to occasional lapses in performance at the most inopportune times. Should that occur, it is possible to only wound or maim an animal. That would be most unfortunate.
That being said, the .243 should be more than adequate to kill any paper target out there.
