I have an opportunity to buy a Winchester model 88 in .308 caliber made in 1957. The rifle looks in excellent condition. Is it worth $590?

I fogot a couple of words in regard to the price. I don't know why I wrote it the way I did, but it should read like this:
I checked the internet out and saw rifles in that make and model in excellent condition starting at $100.00 OVER the price of $590.00, some were going for almost twice that amount of $590.00.

Ten years from now you will regret not buying that rifle.
If you can afford it, buy it!
Winchester firearms in decent are NOT going to lose value, even the "rough" Winchester guns are worth buying for the right price. Get the real Winchesters while you can!
