I just recently bought a Browning X-Bolt in 7mm WSM for elk hunting. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about reloading. A cheap setup and anything else to get me going. Also if anyone has this gun what ammo does it like.

Rydatt: I made the jump into reloading a few years ago. I have not shot a factory load since except for 22 rim fire. I started with the Lee Anniversary kit, it has everything you need to get started and I think it came with one set of dies. It is a very good entry level basic press kit, check it out on the net. One of the most important things to remember is you are working with powder and primers that can go BOOM. Good reloading manuals are a must,(Lee Kit comes with one) start out with mild loads and work up, always check the load charts and compare with different manuals. I also use electronic scales to check my loads not a must but very nice to have. When you get to max loads just a little can be too much. Just loaded some 375 H&H, I have a bear hunt in Sept and working on some loads for it. Good Luck and have fun.
