I own a Sako 30/06 and shoot factory Remington ammo180 gr. core loc pointed soft point. When shooting up hill or down hill what does the bullet do rise or fall?

The bullet rises. Aim low when shooting up or downhill.

I agree w/ taylor always keep the cross hairs on hair. To put down a deer you only need to knick its vitals which are all within about 18 inches of each other.

Imagine this, if you were looking downhill at a deer and ranged it at 150 yds draw an imaginary vertical line and range horizontal to that. Your actual range depending on incline might be only 100yds. Shoot as though it were 100yds. Same goes for uphill shots. I use this same principle in my high treestands while bowhunting. Whatever tree the deer is standing next to I look up the tree to eye level and range sraight out horizontaly. That tells me what pin to use and it always works.
