Imagine this, if you were looking downhill at a deer and ranged it at 150 yds draw an imaginary vertical line and range horizontal to that. Your actual range depending on incline might be only 100yds. Shoot as though it were 100yds. Same goes for uphill shots. I use this same principle in my high treestands while bowhunting. Whatever tree the deer is standing next to I look up the tree to eye level and range sraight out horizontaly. That tells me what pin to use and it always works.
