Those slip on pads are vastly improved from the ones of years ago. I like the protection they afford to the stock where it is most likely to take some abuse in the field. Sometimes it seems like the simple or lazy man's approach can be the right one??

Without knowing what caliber, Ruger M77 you have, it is hard to say what size you need, but the Limbsaver is the best and should work on both, wooden stocks and laminate ones. good hunting and Merry Christmas

i recently bought a ruger m77 mark 2, slightly used. it has a laminate stock along with a brick for a recoil pad. i have looked at the LimbSaver recoil pads and cant decide which one to get (because of the laminate stock). since the stock consists of wood underneath the stock, do i buy the pad that fits the wooden model?Tags: None
