With the cost of some rifles reaching the $2,000.00 to $5,000.00 range, why aren't more manufactures offering take down rifles? If there are any, lets have some names and email address. Thanks.

Carol, Browning offers their lever action rifles in a takedown version. These rifles are not in the thousands but they perform better than many of the rifles that are that pricey. The Blaser rifle can change out standard caliber barrels with such ease that it would have to be considered a takedown. That is a very classy firearm with many calibers available and upgrades from a standard version that is already a beauty. those are the ones that have my attention and I am sure there are others.
