I don't have any experience with this scope, but I would be careful expecting an unbiased review these days. Just shoot the gun to check the zero before you hunt with it. If anything strange seems to happen to the scope, switch it out before you are counting on it in a hunting situation.

Nothing has happened with it yet, but people say it happens suddenly after about 3 years, it supposedly gives out and is totaled.

I just don't trust cheap scopes. That said, I don't like to spend more than I need to, so I'm a big fan of the Nikon Prostaff scope and Redfield scopes. Generally under $200 and carry a lifetime guarantee. I've had real good luck with both.

That happened to my dad, He was hitting a baseball freestanding at 150 yards, then his gun went out and he injured 2 deer from really close range, it's a good gun just old.

The scope is a new model and is supposed to be really good, It was $50 bucks more to get the gun with a scope, it has adjustable zoom from 3-9x and has the crosshairs carved in the glass. I don't know much about scopes but I can read a license plate at 300 yards with it.
