  • Dads gun #1 S&W 28-2. .357

Got my fathers 28-2 357 to go with my 29-2 44mag. Check out the safari land flap holster. IMG_1891.JPGIMG_1896.JPGIMG_1897.JPG

I like that for a trail gun! The .357 is adequate in my area and the flap holster makes a lot of sense for protection and retention while on horseback or on an ATV.

OK, I saw the A5 post first, but you are seriously hitting all my "want" guns. Good for you.

Nice looking revolvers. Has your Fathers been refinished ? I see very little in drag marks for the age of the gun. Looks like they have been very well taken care of.

I have the Colt Trooper Mk III in .357 and had the matching in .22lr. Did not care for the .22lr as it was only 6 shot and heavier than the .357. I sold it for close to $1,000.

No, it's factory. Dad had a little Browning challenger ll he liked to carry. I've had the 44 for most my life. It shows a LOT more wear, holster & shooting.

My 29 is the 'Classic Hunter' with adjustable front sight. Took me a long time to learn how to shoot it but eventually I could hit a pie plate 6 times at 100 yds - off hand. S&W 29 .44mag.jpg
