      Sounds to me that it just means the gun fired without the act of someone pulling the trigger. Not sure why the word "detonation" was used though.

        I think it's the Drop Test. a Dallas Texas PD, had a Holster Drop Discharge. when a Barney Fife went to Re-holster his P320 Sig.

                Detonates? Hmm considering everything in a gun conflagrates I am surprised. How does a gun add speed to event?

                I'd like to know more about this drop test that is supposedly stricter than SAAMI
