i am looking to buy anew rest for my carbon element. i have a whisker biscuit but it keeps stripping fletchings. i was thinking of getting a firenock aerorest or a trophy ridge revolution, i would liek to have a full containment rest. thoughts?

I shoot a Carbon Matrix with a Ripcord Code Red, so if it is in your budget I would suggest it. If you want something a little bit more affordable get a NAP 360 degree rest.

I have the Trophy Ridge Trophy Taker, it is an excellent drop away rest that I have never had fail. The containment guard wraps pretty much all around it and just enough room to fit your arrow in. I place my bow on the rails of my tree stand, and when I pick the bow up and pull back, the arrow is perfect each time. I would check Cabelas website maybe in the bargain cave, see if you can get it on sale.

I completely butchered my last response sorry about that. It all came back to me after I submitted, it is the Trophy Taker Xtreme Full Containment Top Slot Arrow Rest. This is how it is listed on websites and it is on sale at Cabelas at the moment; I just looked. The things I said about it are still true!

I agree 100% with officerdom, I've used the Trophy Taker Extreme for years, and have no complaints. I would stay away from NAP, they have a good reputation, but I have not been impressed with the 3 different models I've owned.

I shoot a QAD arrow wrest. They have many models so see which one is best for you and your budget. I would check Dick's Sporting Goods they have some pretty good deals if no other place has what you are looking for. Good luck.
