I have decided to buy a crossbow for deer hunting. I have narrowed it down to the Parker Hornet Extreme or the Ten PointTurbo XLT. Any experience good or bad would help

I have read the 10 pts are really good crossbows, I know more people that shoot Excalibur and they have life time a warranty.

Go with a good recurve crossbow they are simple, reliable, quieter to shoot and they out perform compound xbows in the field.

I agree with 25-06 Guy - Excaliber makes the best crossbows for hunters.

I have shot both Ten-Point , and Parker Crossbows. Both are excellent crossbows, good quality, and very accurate.
I would go with the Parker. I like Parker's G-2 trigger. All metal construction , built in anti dry - fire device, along with
only a 4 pound no creep trigger pull. Also the Parker has a little better price, great customer service department,
        along with a lifetime warranty.

Thanks to all for the input. I went with the Parker. Same weight same warranty. More accessories for the same money.
