Have you ever seen an ad showing their amazing camo and it looks like it blends in perfectly? I bet they air brush a lot to make it 100% like the background

I dont think so,most hunters buy what looks good or what on sale at WAL*MART,I hunt in Fl.the type of camo found here is palmeto 3D, not tree bark or oak leavs, but if you buy dark green pants, jackit its just as good, I ware ODs for 50yr and get my limit every year!

as a selling or marketing venture most ads are made to please your eye and first impressions mean a lot in a competitive market.....camo is part of the equation....Outdoor IQ is also important as well

Of course they make their camo effective in their ads. You'd never consider buying it if the hunter stood out like a banana on a bald man's head.

It wouldn't surprise me at all, when a buck is to be made I'd imagine so.

Never thought much about that until your question. You're probably right, though.

I think there are essentially two types of camo...that which blends in with your background (most common),and that which breaks up your outline.

If those guys in the photos were to move in front of another tree, for example, I'd bet that they would be much more visible...!!
