I have a twelve year old daughter and would love to get her in the passion of bow hunting. She gets very excited when we talk about getting her a bow, Im just so confused on what bow to get her to start out with, they make so many at so many different price points and there is never any articles on this. So guys any pointers for me and other parents out there. Thank You.

Look at the Mathews Genesis. It has a draw lenght that automacticly adjust to the user and cost new around 200. I've seen them on Ebay for around 100. many schools are using this type of bow because it will fit so many children and it will take a while to grow oout of it. Find and read some reviews from parents who've bought this for their children.

i'd go with the razor edge by diamond, you can adjust it from a 30 pound draw weight to a 60 pound draw, and you can adjust it from a 19 inch draw to a 29 inch draw, plus you can get it in pink i'm shure she'd like that, hope this helped.

If these two posts aren't enough advice for you try posting your question on Field and Streams website. There is a lot more activity there. Good Luck!
