Birthday coming up and was wondering what gear would be cool to have for fishing/outdoor/atv gear. Hunting season is over for the most part except for turkey in spring.

Just speaking for myself, any fishing or hunting gear is great to get. That said you might check out the new gear from the shot show over at Field and Stream for some ideas.

With hunting season pretty much done, you can always fish. I would go for something like the new 600 series supercaster reel, or a new rod.

think of foot wear first, a good pair of boots is always the first on my list, then i think binoculars for my 2nd choice.
