I recently had my arrows cut to size and I lost my inserts. I'm shooting carbon express arrows. Does anyone know if I need to put carbon express brand inserts in the arrow or can I use a different name brand?

I would stick with CE inserts but more specifically, inserts made for your model of arrow. There are several different types of inserts that CE makes depending on the shaft model/composition. Factory specs for a given arrow are generally based on the intended accessories for a given model.

Great answer. I'll also follow that advice.
