I have an Excaliber Pheonix crossbow with the Light Stuff Package and I really like it. I think they sell for about $650 or something.

Look to make sure that crossbows are legal in your state. Here in montana crossbows can only be used during rifle season. I love hunting the rut with my compound. Look at the diamond Razor edge. Lots of adjustment and a really good price.
