  • Does Saltwater fishing requires different fishing hooks?

I am new to fishing. Can some one help me in answering the question
    Thanks in advance

No it really doesn't. The saltwater will pretty much rust everything. As for hooks it doesn't matter. As for your rod and reel take care of them and wash them off with regular water every once in awhile. Even if it salt gear.

I like to get stronger hooks than generally used in fresh water. I'll also spend more money on quality hooks, such as Owner, for their better quality----saltwater fish fight harder than freshwater fish and are more apt to damage your hook.

Hooks are likely to get bent, dull, or lost before the salt water kills them (as long as you wash them off after each salt water excursion).
