I'm not familiar with the Lachute river so I can't help too much. Just continue being persistent and changing things up. If you see someone that looks like they have been catching fish don't be afraid to ask them for advice.

Can anyone tell me why i cant catch a nice sized bass? i have been fishing the lachute river in my hometown ticonderoga and there are some monster bass gar and trout in this river but i just cant seem to pull in any fish this year. maybe its my gear or it could be the way im using my lures but maybe its just cause im fishing at the wrong times. some helpful advice would be much appreciated.
