This is the first year in the last five that I won't be going to northern MN for the walleye opener which is May 11, this year. Maybe that's a good choice. I'm from IA but would really like some feedback on the ice out situation on Leech, Cass, and other lakes in that area.

That is strange because I also do a lot of fishing right around that area. Would you like to borrow some dnyo? Im just kidding. Unfortunately for me, all of my fishing gear is up there were i wont be for awhile. I'll call a resort up there soon to see on the conditions. two weekends ago i was up there and all of the lakes were covered
