what is the most Humane way to kill a fish? I have heard of TNT and hanging, got any other ideas?

If you open the fish's mouth and insert a loaded shotgun barrel...then, just hold the shotgun upright and pull the trigger.

Just give em a good hard whack right on the top of the head, above and slightly behind the eyes. As JM said though, they'll stay fresh longer if you keep them alive.

PETA uses the method of giving them one last meal and then they stuff them in a plastic garbage bag, tie it shut, suffocate them and throw them into a dumpster.

Like JM said a blow to the head above the eyes. I've used a stout tree branch limb fashioned as a club.

Fish DO NOT feel pain. If you want to stun/kill them quickly though, club them on top of the head above where the eyes are. On smaller fish you can reach into their gills and turn the head to break the neck pretty easily.
-A live fish wont spoil.
