Mainly what I do to land a lot of trophy bass is just use a rubber worm, I never used rubber worms untill one day. IF you have a boat, troll around the edges and as far as the rigging goes, take a weedless hook thread it through a plastic worm and then flip the hook around and jab the barb into the worm a little bit. Dont use any weight but throw it under a dock by a dock lilly pads or what not, just let it sink. Here in MT Bass go crazy for that.

I have always had good luck with poppers in the spring and summer. Maybe you could try throwing a popper and pulling it about 2 feet from the edge of a dock. There's bound to be a big boy waiting under the dock. When he hears the popping and struggling noises, he will come out to investigate. Hopefully he will think your popper looks delicious. Then its up to you to pull him in!

This also depends on what part of the country this lake is in.

Try a bunch of baits and lures and figure out what works best for the locations around your fishing areas. Definitely fish any structures and near plant material. Docks have always worked out well for me.

So far, I've built a "bee vacuum" and a "swarm trap".
When I deploy the trap this spring, I'll need at least one hive....I hope!...
