I'll agree with yoda & pineywood. I like to use black & olivegreen wooly buggers with and without beadheads with floating line and 9-12' leader. I fish them like you would a popper short hard strokes, and the same with streamers.
Pineywood brings up a very important point! You must not allow the fish to over populate the small pond. My favorite fishing pond which is much larger than yours at around 60acres has countless numbers of large fish which include bass, crappie, bream, and a few others last year we noticed the bass were long and extremely skinny. This being a private pond the owners called the EPA and had a biologist out to test the water and other things and he had a simple answer eat more of your fish. Apperantly there was no forage fish for them to eat, and now they are supplementaly feeding them until they can remove thousands of fish. I was there 2 weeks ago crappie fishing, and the crappie and bream are still plump but the bass are still skinny and sluggish but looking better than last year.

A big wooly bugger, or some sort of huge streamer that is "buggy" looking ought to work.

Bass will bite anything that resembles forage. A good streamer or large dry fly (grasshopper?) should draw strikes. Be careful not to keep too many OR to release too many. I made the mistake in my one acre pond of not keeping any bass and last year found myself with a pond full of small bass that were eating all the bream. A couple of good fish fries with lots of friends seems to have taken care of the problem. Good fishing to you.
