Have you seen Gayne's interview with Putin in the latest edition of Outdoor Life? Vladmir comes across as a very interesting and complicated person with a lot of awareness of the outdoors. What's your take?

My OL edition comes digital - I left comments on this here http://www.outdoorlife.com/articles/hunting/2011/05/one-one-vladimir-putin
Just remember he is KGB and has been personally responsible for the suppression of freedom is his country and around the world.
The interview is interesting and hat tip to Gayne.

great interview...not so great man. Having grown up in a former soviet occupied country I know what the Russians are capable of. To this day when I visit my family I can't help but notice that the KGB and the fear that they bring are still alive and well. I will never trust a Russian, even one who likes to hunt. But like I said before, great interview!
