    I'M GOING FISHING IN NORTHREN ONTARIO THIS WEEKEND AND WANT TO KNOW WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD STARTER BAIT TO SEE WHAT MOOD THERE IN. I'M THINKING A PUPIT MINOW OR A JIGING SPOON.

    I've found, whether fishing for walleye, or wandering northern pike, that a 1/2 or 3/4 oz jig tipped with a live minnow or leeches or Gulp Minnow work really well.
