I'm going to fish for carp. I once heard of making dough balls from corn flakes and strawberry soda. Has anyone heard of this? How do you fish with a dough ball?

i've used it and it works. don't get it too dry and put it on a treble hook. one thing i do is when i have my line out on the bottom, i put a little piece in the water next to me where i can see it. when that piece has dissolved or fallen apart, i can be pretty sure the ball on the hook has as well, and it is time to rebait.
