Seadog, never tried one, dont think we have em in Oklahoma. Never met a fish I did not like fried though. Heard they were getting out of hand down in Florida. So I say eat all you can.

I haven't come across one yet, but I've heard reports like yours that they are good eating. Maybe that will help keep the spread down---no closed season, no bag limits and no size limits---eat 'em up.

Where do you fish? First time i heard about snakeheads was on River Monsters in Thailand.

HunterD, I'm in South Florida. I recently noticed a lot of them in the lake behind my house where I caught this one. I saw them on the state (FWC) website a couple of years age listed as an invasive exotic. I've also heard that they're established in a lot of other states. Well, now that I've tasted em, I may just have to target them.
