I have a pond that is only waste deep that i hunt fer ducks on. I want to attract more diving ducks, so i was thinking i would introduce some sort of fish for them to feed on. the pond freezes over, but i am confidant it never freezes to the bottom. what fish would you suggest to introduce?

I would put my money on bluegill depending on how far north you are.Would also try to get some kind of perineal grain crop started around the edge for puddleducks.

Well that kind of depends on what species of duck you want to attract and where you are. Try and find out what they eat in lake in your area, and that should work.

After shooting a duck in that pond cut it open and then look around for what is in there and identify it then put it in the pond. Make sure you have the meat out of the duck before doing this because it can get a little messy.
